There are so many ways to get involved- The mission of our PTO is to support and strengthen the highest quality education of children at Longbranch Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers; promoting a sense of support and pride at Longbranch Elementary. Volunteers are essential to the success of our students and staff. We welcome and encourage any and all family members to get involved in your children's education and events. Let's have an awesome year making wonderful memories with our students, staff, friends, and family. Thank you for your support! Volunteer Opportunities through out the Year: -Library Liaison- Jennifer Shipman- assist with shelving, cataloging, etc. -WOW Planning -assist in classrooms while teachers meet to plan a lesson above & beyond the curriculum. -Lunchroom assistance- help students in lunchroom. -Book Fair- (Fall & Spring) help set up and assist with book fair. -Holiday Store- (December)-Elizabeth Stanley- help set up and assist with holiday store. -Fine Art Show- (Spring)- Susan Bishop- help with setting up ans displaying student's art. -Field Day- (Spring)- assist athletic department with annual field day. -Sock Hop- (Spring)- Mindy Bell- help plan, decorate, and staff this fun Longbranch event. -Family Fun Nights- help bring Longbranch families together through out various "Family Fun Nights". -Nurse Aid- assist with vision and hearing test and annual blood drive.
